It looked like any ordinary round shaped lantern, but up-close, it was in a form of jellyfish.
It was pyrotechnics. Much more amazing when seen with the naked eye!

Sat technically by the bay and ate the cake... the pictures unfortunately i couldn't grab from jun's blog. so visit her blog to see the mudcake and blackforest that we had which was super deeeeeellllliiiiiiccccciiiiiiiiioooooooouuuuuuuuusssssssssssssssssss!!!Reached home at 11.50pm.
